Strategy Consulting & Leadership Development

Leadership, Governance & Strategy Support Rooted In Feminist Values

We work with women leaders, boards, and organisations navigating power, transition, and complexity โ€” through depth, reflection, and shared responsibility.

We partner with organisations that are ready to pause, think differently, and engage meaningfully with leadership and organisational challenges. Our work prioritises integrity, sustainability, and impact over quick fixes or symbolic processes.

How We Work

Our consulting and coaching work is guided by a clear Consulting & Coaching Compass (CCC) that prioritises depth, sustainability, and care โ€” for the work and for the people doing it.

We work best when:

  • There is openness to reflection and challenge
  • Decision-makers are actively involved
  • Leadership and governance are part of the work
  • There is time and space to engage complexity
  • Responsibility for outcomes is shared

We do not offer once-off workshops or compliance-driven engagements. Instead, we work through sustained partnerships that allow for trust, learning, and meaningful change over time.

Core Engagements

Feminist Leadership, Governance & Strategy Partnerships

Our core work takes place through longer-term consulting partnerships, typically four to six months, and structured on a retainer basis to support continuity, depth, and accountability.

These engagements may include:

  • Leadership team and senior management work
  • Board effectiveness and power dynamics
  • Feminist leadership alignment in practice
  • Organisational strategy and coherence
  • Strategic thinking around resourcing and sustainability

We intentionally limit the number of concurrent engagements we hold, ensuring presence, quality, and sustainability in how we work.

Executive Coaching for Women Leaders

Executive Elevation Experience (EEE)

Executive coaching is offered as an embedded part of longer organisational engagements, supporting women leaders navigating complexity, responsibility, and transition.

Executive Elevation Experience focuses on:

  • Leadership self-awareness and practice
  • Power, role, and decision-making
  • Wellbeing and sustainability
  • Leading with clarity in complex systems

This coaching is organisationally sponsored and held within a broader leadership and strategy context, ensuring integration, accountability, and support. Executive coaching is not offered as a standalone, open-enrolment programme.

Leadership Development Approach

ASCEND

Our leadership development work is informed by ASCEND, a feminist leadership approach that supports shared language, reflective practice, and leadership development over time.

ASCEND is not offered as a standalone programme. It is embedded within organisational engagements to support:

  • Collective leadership practice
  • Reflection on power and values
  • Sustainable leadership habits
  • Alignment between intention and action

Delivery is supported by trusted associates, allowing for depth without over-extension.

Where We Start: The Diagnostic

Most new engagements begin with a paid diagnostic and reflection process.

This diagnostic conversation:

  • Creates shared clarity about what is really happening
  • Assesses readiness, alignment, and capacity
  • Identifies patterns of leadership, power, and over-functioning
  • Helps determine whether deeper work is the right next step

Not all diagnostics lead to longer engagements โ€” and that is intentional. The purpose is to ensure that any work we undertake together can be held with integrity and care.

This Work Is a Good Fit Ifโ€ฆ

This work is a good fit if:

  • You are open to reflection and challenge
  • Leadership and governance are part of the conversation
  • You are seeking depth rather than quick fixes
  • You value feminist, values-aligned leadership practice
  • You are willing to work over time

This work may not be a fit if:

  • You are looking for a once-off workshop
  • The work is primarily symbolic or compliance-driven
  • There is no mandate or decision-making authority involved
  • You want change without shared responsibility

Working Together

This work is relational, reflective, and purposeful. It requires readiness, resourcing, and care โ€” and when those are present, it can be deeply impactful.

If you are exploring whether this way of working is right for your organisation or leadership context, we invite you to get in touch.

Our work is led by Shireen Motara, feminist leadership strategist, and delivered in collaboration with a trusted network of associates supporting facilitation, coaching, and programme delivery.
